It’s not just the complimentary glass of champagne, it’s the service behind the name.

Our Beginning

Nate and Taylor Jones purchased The Winchester Salon in July of 2024 with a big vision in mind — salon services that make you feel and look great, without breaking the bank. They wanted a salon that was different, where luxury didn’t just mean an expensive facial, but a chance to sit down and relax with your best friend while you soak up a day of beauty and a little bit of bubbly. They wanted comradery in the salon industry, where employees felt comfortable enough to talk to their bosses and team members. They wanted a safe place, a haven. It all started with Taylor’s dream when she was 14 years old — one day she’d be able to offer a place where beauty, friendship, and bubbly would all meet together.

JUST ANOTHER WAITING AREA

WITH A BORING HAIR STATION

& ROOM FOR CREATIVITY

A STOARGE ROOM WITH POTENTIAL

From Paper and Pen to Spackle and Paint

When Nate and Taylor purchased The Winchester Salon, they knew they were in for a wild ride of renovations - since the salon looked like it had walked out of a Homes and Gardens Magazine from the early 90’s. The baby blues and baby pinks on the walls, were not going to make the cut of their new vision.

Inspired by Pinterest, friends and family, other salons locally, and the vision that Taylor had in her head — the owners got to work on drawing up designs for the new hair stations, the new esthetics room, pedicure stations, a brow bar, and new nail desks.

The vision seemed to always be changing. Originally Taylor wanted black and white checkered flooring with pops of color all over the walls. Nate wanted a defined separation between the hair side and nail side. They flip flopped between getting traditional pedicure chairs and what type of cabinetry to go with in the space.

But Nate never ceased to amaze Taylor. With help from Taylor’s Dad, Nate tore out a window, updated plumbing, and offered solutions to problems that always seemed to arise at every corner. Even with their bickering, they made one helluva team.

A New Face and a New Name?

The salon has come a long ways since Nate and Taylor took over - with only a few more changes to the new face lift, the project will soon be over, the dust of construction will settle, and the epic vision that they began their journey with will be forever.

Taylor and Nate have poured so much love into this project, and believe the best way to rebrand not only the salon, but the cosmetology industry in Roseburg was a new name - Beauty and Bubbly.

Soon, they will update the outside of the building and officially change the name of the salon. They plan to have a grand “re” opening to celebrate, so make sure you stay tuned for future updates.

“The Winchester Salons face-lift has really given the salon such a comfortable ambience. The staff are so friendly, that demonstrates such professionalism. My daughter and I go in every 2 weeks for mommy and me manicures. Taylor is absolutely amazing and so patient with my little one. We will be clients for a long time!”
